One downside was that the omelet served was oily, which could be improved upon for breakfast options. It’s something management could easily address.

I loved the great access to nearby parks and the Short Pump Town Center, which made my weekend strolls so enjoyable and convenient after a restful night in a room that was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff to help me out whenever needed. It's a perfect spot for solo travelers like me who want to explore a city on foot, but the pool area could use better ventilation as there was an unpleasant smell during my visit.

We enjoyed our stay with the kids and our two dogs. The hotel is close to parks and shopping, making it perfect for family outings. The friendly staff made us feel welcome, just like Zamayra at the front desk, who was great during our check-in process.

I spent one night at the Hilton in Richmond. The location stood out, being close to shopping venues like Short Pump and numerous restaurants. The room felt modern and clean, with comfortable bedding that aided a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the mini fridge and the large safe for my laptop. I enjoyed the spa services, especially the full body scrub and massage, which helped me relax. However, there was a significant inconvenience when I checked in. I was informed that there would be no hot water from 8 am to 5 pm during my stay. I felt they should have communicated this before my arrival. Once I spoke to the manager regarding this issue, she handled it well by offering us access to the concierge lounge and complimentary breakfast. We were moved to a room that wouldn't be affected by the hot water outage. Still, it would have been nicer to have been alerted in advance. The dining options were decent but could use some improvement—especially the breakfast omelet I had, which was oilier than I would have preferred. I had a good time, but that little hiccup dampened my experience a bit.
